Travel and accommodation
Please make sure to have you travel and acommendation booked as soon as possible.
Book flights to Copenhagen Airport.
We recommend booking your stay at Axel Guldsmeden or Babette Guldsmeden. Both hotels are conveniently located near the venue and offer excellent accommodations.

Event Registration
Currently, all registration activities are managed through your main contact at the foundation.
As we get closer to the event, a registration link will be shared with all participants to collect details such as dietary preferences and other important information.
Getting around Copenhagen
Public transport and bicycles are the fastest and most convenient ways to navigate Copenhagen.
To plan your public transport trips, Google Maps is a reliable tool.
For bike rentals, check out Donkey Bikes. Their app makes it easy to rent bikes for point-to-point travel. Keep in mind that Danes take cycling seriously, especially during commutes, so be sure to follow the flow and adhere to cycling etiquette.

Emergency situations
For urgent emergencies, dial 112.
For non-urgent medical assistance, call 1813 to speak with a nurse who can help evaluate your situation and book you at the nearest clinic or hospital. They speak english.

Venue
All sessions will take place at Bikubens new building Thoravej 29.
Thoravej 29 is situated in an up-and-coming area of Copenhagen not yet connected to the subway network. Use Google Maps to plan your journey. The travel time from either Axel Guldsmeden or Babette Guldsmeden is approximately 30 minutes.
- From Axel Guldsmeden: Take the M3 subway line from Central Station (via Frederiksberg) to Nørrebro Station. Then, take the 5C bus for one stop or simply walk to Thoravej 29. See directions on Google Maps.
- From Babette Guldsmeden: Take the M3 subway line from Marmorkirken (via Østerport) to Nørrebro Station. Then, take the 5C bus for one stop or simply walk to Thoravej 29. See directions on Google Maps.
Note: The M3 line runs in a circular route in both directions. Make sure to choose the correct “via” direction to avoid significantly extending your travel time.
Weather
In late March, Denmark typically experiences cool and unpredictable weather. Expect temperatures ranging from 5°C to 10°C (37°F to 50°F), with a mix of cloudy skies, occasional rain, and some sunny intervals. It’s a good idea to dress in layers and bring a waterproof jacket to stay comfortable.
Be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes for the Wednesday site visits.
Time Zone and DST
Denmark operates on CET (GMT+1), and all times listed on this site are in local Danish time.
Note: If you plan to stay in Denmark for the weekend after the event, please note that the clocks will move one hour ahead for daylight saving time between March 29 and March 30. Most phones will adjust automatically, but if you have a flight on Sunday, be sure to double-check the time to ensure you don’t miss your flight.
