Celia Hannon is Executive Director for Insight and Strategy at System Shift. Previously she was a Director at the UK foundation Nesta; where she designed multi-million pound innovation funds, oversaw the organisation’s strategic foresight agenda and co-curated Nesta's flagship event FutureFest. She led a cross-cutting Discovery function, which used the latest advances in data science to map innovation systems. In previous think-tank roles she led research into the systems which impact the lives of families and young people - from the built environment to the care system. A Fulbright Scholar, Celia has held fellowships at the GovLab in New York and the Foundation for Young Australians in Melbourne. A graduate of Oxford and New York University's Wagner school for public service, she also trained at London’s Tavistock Institute in systems psychodynamics.
